Skin cancer :: Aldara and keratosis and genital warts

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the approval of a new indication for Aldara (imiquimod) topical cream. This product is currently approved for the treatment of actinic keratosis and external genital warts. FDA is approving its use for the treatment of superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC), a type of skin cancer .
