Hypertension :: Primary Hypertension – Malandrinum

A case of Primary Hypertension in a young man of 21 years, of wheatish complexion, 5’8″ height, average build, prominent belly, numerous chicken pox marks on face, few moles on left face, receding hairline, less body hair, gap in teeth and having long tapering fingers. He is jolly by nature, fun loving and one of the happy go lucky sorts- not taking anything too seriously though also very emotional.

Malandrinum

It is made from the “Grease” a disease seen in horses. It is a nosode first proved and introduced by Boskowitz of Brooklyn who made the first potencies up to the 30th. It was later proved by Drs. Straube (using 30th potency), Raue, Carleton Smith, Wm. Jefferson, Guernsey, Selfridge, Burnett and Clarke. An extensive proving was carried out by W. P. Wesselhoeft, H.C. Allen, Steere, Holcombe and the students of Hering College in 1900 – 1901. They used 30th, 35th and 200th potencies.

Sciatica :: Sciatica – Lachesis

Mrs. J. K. aet. 42. For six weeks has had stiffness and aching in lumbar region on rising or sitting down. Now confined to bed by throbbing, quivering, soreness, numbness and shooting pains down right sciatic nerve to foot, which feels as if she were stepping on a stone, and the thigh as if lying on rocks; pains agg. on outside of thigh. Aching in right calf on standing and right sole burns.
