Arvind Kejriwal to contest in the Lok Sabha polls in Varanasi

Aam Admi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal has announced that he will contest against BJP stalwart Nerendra Modi in the Lok Sabha polls in Varanasi. He announced his candidature at a rally in Varanasi this evening after seeking public’s approval.

People attending the rally responded him raising their hands and slogans. He said he was ready to accept the challenge to contest the election against Modi. Seeking public support in terms of financial and man power support for the contest AAP leader said that he has no fund for the elections.

Arvind Kejriwal also appealed the service class supporters to visit Varanasi and Raebareli taking leave from their organisations. He said, he is ready to have face to face debate with Modi on various issues.

Appealing people to defeat both Congress and BJP in the Lok Sabha Polls he accused both the parties for pursuing policies benefitting top industrialists.

Arvind Kejriwal said throwing UPA out of power for its corrupt and anti-people policies does not mean bringing BJP lead NDA into the power as both are indulged in corrupt practices. He said honest people should be winning in the elections.

Arvind Kejriwal said defeat of Modi from Varanasi and Rahul Gandhi from Amethi will ruine the prospects of both the parties. He said in the name of political stability corrupt people and parties should not be tolerated in power as these people only help the top industrialists.
