Autism :: A pioneering system allows autistic children to communicate with their environment

SC@UT is a project designed and developed at the University of Granada which allows autistic children to communicate with people in their environment through a PDA. Thanks to this system, they can express such needs as going to the toilet or hunger and such states as happiness, sadness or tiredness. SC@UT can also be used by adults with cerebral palsy or who cannot speak for different reasons (heart attack, thrombosis, etc.).
