US President Barack Obama’s 3-day visit to India

President of United States, Barack Obama will arrive in New Delhi on a three day visit to India this Sunday. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that India sees the visit of President Obama as strengthening of ties across the full spectrum of Indo-US relations.

Syed Akbaruddin said, the visit is a qualitative reinvigoration of the ties since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US in September last year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama will jointly address the nation from All India Radio in the Programme Mann Ki Baat.

In a tweet, Mr Modi said the address will be a special one and he is eagerly looking forward to it.

The Prime Minister has asked people to send their questions till this Sunday on the website.

The Programme will be broadcast next Tuesday.
