Housing for all by 2022 says Venkaiah Naidu

Union Parliamentary Affairs and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said that NDA government will not launch witch-hunt against its political opponents. He was talking to reporters in Bangalore today.

When asked whether government would take action against Robert Vadra, who is allegedly involved in controversial land deals, Naidu said the law would take its own course.

Talking about the key agenda of his ministry, Naidu said that housing for all by 2022, development of 100 smart cities and no politics in development would be the priority.

The minister said he will call a meeting of Urban Development ministers of all the states shortly to discuss modalities on achieving these goals. He said that irrespective of party affiliations, there will be no politics on development issues and his ministry will reach out to each and every state.
