HIV :: India the new epicenter of global AIDS pandemic

Bill Clinton, former President of USA, says India is the new epicenter of the global pandemic of HIV. He commented this with British interviewers on the World AIDS Day.

More than 5.5 million people infected in India, the challenge is “breathtaking.” But the challenge can be met.

“I remember similar statement was given by Dr. Raaj Bothra of US in his one of the conferences in 92 that — India sitting atop on AIDS volcano. This AIDS and Drug Abuse conference was organised by Medical Education & Research Foundation, New Delhi.” Dr. Anil Singhal.
