The American Heart Association will kick off National Heart Month with a free Go Red For Women event being held at First Indiana Plaza, 135 N. Pennsylvania Street.
Red in the City is a three-day event offering a multitude of free activities including blood pressure screenings, mini manicures, lipstick makeovers, and exercise demonstrations, plus the chance to win prizes from WFMS, Dream Dinners, and Sahm?s Restaurant.
The event will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 ? Feb. 2. It will kick off at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 31 with a red milk mustache group photo being taken by the American Dairy Council that will include community leaders and heart disease survivors.
