Three different approaches for domestic violence screening in primary care – a self-administered questionnaire, medical staff interview, and physician interview – all have similar results in terms of disclosure rates, comfort and time spent screening.

The authors assert that brief screening tools like those tested in this study can be useful to busy primary care clinicians.
