In Himachal Pradesh, the higher reaches of tribal districts Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur received fresh snowfall on Thursday, resulting severe cold throughout state. The met department has predicted more snowfall on higher reaches during next two days.
The tribal district Lahaul-Spiti has been cut off by road connectivity with rest of the country as the gateway of this district, Rohtang pass received more than two feet snowfall during past two days. The district headquarter Keylong also witnessed first snowfall of this season on Thursday.
The higher reaches in Kinnaur, Kangra, Chamba and Kullu districts have been covered with white snow blanket. Several other parts of the state also lashed with rain in the day affecting normal life.
