Flu :: Not late to get flu vaccine

It’s not too late to get a flu shot, said Dr. Melinda Rowe, commissioner of the health department, Kentucky.

Flu season normally peaks in Kentucky around February or later. It takes two weeks to develop protective antibodies once you get your flu shot.

People can get flu shots for $20 at community health clinics.
