Israel resumed flu vaccinations on Monday after the Health Ministry determined that the deaths of four men who had been inoculated in the past week were not linked to the vaccine.
“Vaccinations will start (again) this evening,” Health Minister Yaacov Ben-Yizri said, before himself receiving an inoculation live on television to demonstrate its safety.
“Today, we held consultations with all the expert teams throughout the country … they all ruled out completely any link between the (deaths) and the inoculations,” he said.
The ministry had ordered the suspension of all inoculations on Sunday.
