Films made in Japan in focus at IFFI

Films made in Japan was the focus of the International Film Festival of India in Goa on Saturday. Prominent film making company from there were screening significant films made by them.

The section will have a special package of the best that Japan has to offer.The titles include a combination of Animation and Fiction feature films.

There are twelve films under the category of country focus which include films like ‘Real’, ‘Únforgiven’, ‘Oshin’, ‘The Devil’s Path, ‘Rebith’, ‘The garden of Words’ and ‘Wolf Children’.

AIR Panaji correspondent reports, there are seven well equipped screens where the films are being showcased. Six of them are located in the main IFFI venue while one at Kala Academy is only 500 metres away.

The film lovers are seen rushing from one screen to another to enjoy the films of their choices. The state police has made elaborate security arrangements for the smooth conduct of the eleven day festival.
