Breast Cancer :: Food designers step up for breast cancer awareness

Step-Up students from Corpus Christi College and Orangefield High School served up a feast at the Jordanstown campus to raise money for charity.

The students were winners of the Step-Up Food Product Design Competition, and they cooked up their mouth-watering culinary creations at a charity lunch in the Students Union.

Shamrock Soda Sarnies and Pink Ribbon Mini Cakes were on the menu, with all proceeds raised donated to Breast Cancer Awareness

Both prize-winning ?supreme snacks? were selected as winners earlier in the year by an expert panel of judges including chef Sean Owen, Gardiner?s Restaurant, Magherafelt.

The Food Product Design Competition is one in an ongoing series of Engagement Events, devised by the Step-Up Programme and open to schools in the Greater Belfast Area.
