Hospital :: Half a million hospital admissions avoidable

A new report released by the University of Adelaide’s Public Health Information Development Unit shows that almost 9% of hospital admissions in Australia should have been avoided, with highest rates among the oldest and most disadvantaged Australians.

Bird Flu :: Cambodia confirmed 7th bird flu death

The Ministry of Health in Cambodia has confirmed the country?s seventh case of human infection with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. It is the first case to be confirmed in humans in Cambodia in 2007.
