The Emmerdale star looks blooming lovely, in a sea of daffodils, as she launches Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Great Daffodil Appeal, supported by Yellow Pages.
The charity is hoping that this year?s Great Daffodil Appeal will be the biggest ever.
Close to 50,000 daffodil boxes have been delivered to shops schools and businesses in good time ? and this year more than 12,000 of them have been delivered by hundreds of volunteers.
Seven prestigious daffodil balls are set to take place nationwide, along with 16 devoted to life walks, the ever-popular Great Daffodil Run in Northampton and many more local events from line-dancing to quizzes all over the UK.
More than 249,400 children at Britain?s nursery and primary schools will be joining in the appeal on March 1, by painting their Mini Pots of Care. The daffodil-growing activity has attracted even more schools in its second year.
Great Daffodil Appeal Manager Sophie Kinsman said:
?This year has the potential to be the best Great Daffodil Appeal we have ever run. We are aiming to raise ?5 million, and things are looking very good ? but we need your help to achieve the target.”
