Alzheimer’s Disease :: Complex Work May Help Ward off Alzheimer’s Disease

Dr. Ross Andel of the University of South Florida in Tampa, and team, studied 10,079 adults who were listed in the Swedish Twin Registry.

The investigators found a link between doing complex work as a main occupation and a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

The researchers theorize that performing complex tasks may have an exercise-like effect that builds up a ‘cognitive reserve’ for the brain.
