USDA has issued a recall of HoneyBaked Foods, Inc., of Toledo Ohio, HoneyBaked Hams and Sliced & Glazed Turkeys purchased from September 5 through November 13, 2006, at its retail location at 6145 Merger Drive in Toledo and at three kiosks in Toledo, Maumee and Woodville, Ohio.
This recall also applies to HoneyBaked Foods Hams and Sliced & Glazed Turkeys delivered to catalog customers from its Holland, Ohio, production and distribution facility. Verification can be determined by the label code on the bottom right of the product label.
Ham codes include 6261 through 6310 and Sliced and Glazed Turkey Breast Codes include 6248 through 6258.
In stores, on-line and via local media, HoneyBaked Foods is reaching its customers who may have purchased these limited products in the four Toledo area retail locations.
The company is reaching out directly via email and phone to each recipient of a potentially affected product shipped from the Holland production and distribution facility.
Consumers can clarify whether a product purchased via catalog or on-line is affected by calling 1-800-461-3998.
Customers can receive a full refund, and HoneyBaked Foods will make arrangements to pick up any unused portion of the product.
This is fully consistent with our previous notification and product recovery action and no additional product has been implicated — HoneyBaked Foods, Inc.
