Union Minister for information and broadcasting Manish Tiwari said that the Centre is against imposing any curbs on the social media unless it threatens the country’s safety.
Talking to media in Indore on Saturday, he said that freedom of speech should prevail in the country.
Manish Tiwari also lashed out at those state governments which show central schemes as theirs.
Manish Tiwari said the centre and states should work with coordination under federal structure and state governments could start their own schemes.
Tiwari said that people should punish those state governments which misuse central funds.
